But what is the exact challenge?
I’m asking you to edit a simple 60 sec scene that includes creative assets from at least three different Envato elements: Video, Music, Sound Effects, Motion Graphics, Fonts, 3D or more.
To be absolutely clear, you can use as many assets as you like but they have to come from AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT ELEMENT CATEGORIES. So you could use one single music track, one single sound effect and one single stock video clip from Envato and meet the minimum requirement.
You would be disqualified for example, if you use two music tracks and one single sound effect, because you didn’t pull from three different element categories. Makes sense?
But you can certainly use as many music tracks, sound effects, video stock clips, fonts, graphic elements, 3-D elements, photos from Envato as you like (as long as you meet that minimum requirement). You can also combine them with your own creations (if you want to film or record something on your own).
DO THIS: To get your Envato creative assets get a 30-Day Free Trial to Envato Elements using this link: https://thisguyedits.com/envato
The title of your film is “3 Elements”. So, decide what that means to you in terms of the actual story. For example elements could mean the elements of nature: water, fire, air, earth or it you could look at elements in chemistry, or elements in a relationship. Get creative, be unique, and most importantly take action.
Submit your film that is 60 sec (or less) to me at envato@thisguyedits.com.
IMPORTANT: When you submit include your name in the actual file name or the youtube/vimeo title so that your submission doesn’t get confused with others.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. It is not required to buy Envato Elements but you are expected to use assets from at least three Envato Elements categories (accessible through the free trial).
