It is my pleasure to announce the winners of the DarkRoom Editing Challenge. Wait… before I do, I do want to congratulate all participants for taking action. I can’t stress how often I see talent go to waste by procrastination and pushing off.

So the fact that you got out there, put yourself on the line and faced the darkness – all that in the name of Art – Amazing!

I have to say, especially in Round 2, I’ve listened to so many great submissions, I actually thought that I would have not been able to place myself. What I mean is: the competition got really really good. So kudos!!!

In Round 1 we had 35 submissions.

Guess how many we had in Round 2? 

185 submissions!!!

I’m about to do another competition with Envato where we award the new Sony ZV1 camera (among other prizes). That camera is a game changer for creators. If you submitted for Round 2 this time, keep in mind that early birds clearly have an advantage 🙂
